Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on the 4th of August, 1981 is an American actor. She is most famous for her roles in the movies The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American film director and actress with a television show. She is famous for her roles in the drama show Rectify and on the sci-fi series Timeless. Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut with a character in the soap opera All My Children. The soap opera All My Children won her a prize from the soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. In the following years, she was mostly a guest actor in several TV series. Her popularity was rewarded for her role of Dr. Erin Jameson in the television series Hawthorne. Gradually, with her amazing looks and stunning acting abilities, she was able to build a large audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played in the role in the film at age 20. Other films she has appeared in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. In recognition of her performance as a character in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. Her most recent work in television is the lead character of the history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics about her performance in the sci-fi television series Timeless. The actress received nominations for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
